Whether it's birthdays or other, bigger celebrations, Lightning is hopeful that they'll be sharing more memories like this one, as simple as it is. There's something special about how regular this is (minus the fact that they just toasted to five hundred and twenty-three years!), and there had been a time when she'd forgotten what living was like. She could help save the world over and over again, but when it boils down to it, eating a slice of bacon next to a giant stuffed bear is truly living.
